Desires

Her eyes were like the morning dew, dripping through my weary soul

Her smile was like the spring’s wind, caressing my raging desires

She is one, yet everything to me

She is a stranger, yet home to me

Everyday I long to see you, but you were not

All night long, I desire to hold you but I could not

Every moment I close my eyes, I could feel you in my arms

I would that we never met, that the day never saw it’s morning

You left an imprint on my soul, you left like you never came

You exist only in my heart, like you never existed.
